On The Go: Subway Flatizza For The First Time

So I'm a huuuge pizza fanatic, and I love trying out new places all the time, so I was really excited to see that Subway had a new pizza dish coming out, and on flatbread at that! It seems like a pretty cool idea that you don't see everyday, so of course I had to snag one before my bus stop to try it out.

I bought just the classic cheese pizza, and I have to say I really dig the flavors of it. The sauce has a sweet flavor rather than what you normally expect (similar to Romeo's Pizza for you Clevelanders), which I really enjoyed as something different and interesting. The edge of the flatbread is really crunchy while the parts under the toppings are softer, yet still hold a firm shape. I almost think of this as the perfect lady pizza haha, its very lightweight and doesn't leave you stuffed afterwards like their other pizza does, making it a great mid-day meal to end off the hunger built up after all my classes. I find it to be good for on the go too, since its not too messy (I actually ate it on the bus).

Overall, its obviously not the best pizza I've ever had by any means, but at $3.25 for cheese you really can't go wrong, and I do prefer it much more over their original pizza so it beats spending a fortune for anything on campus. I definitely won't be picking one up everyday but it will be a nice after school meal while it lasts. If you're a fan of sweet sauce and flatbread, I'd definitely try it out!
